Brenchley Estates Wilsonville
Upcoming Neighborhood Development – Brenchley Estates Wilsonville
Wilsonville is growing – no surprise to current residents who see improvements and developments happening every day throughout the city. The Old Town Square shopping center, the Villebois Master Plan, the Lowrie Primary School, and the list goes on and on.
Most Wilsonville residents are familiar with the story of the Thunderbird Mobile Club that was located along Parkway Avenue and Boeckman Road, and we’ve all watched as the former mobile home property has been transformed into 2 modern apartment communities, Jory Trail and Terrene at the Grove. So what’s next on this property? Holland Partner Group and The Carlyle Group, who are developing the property, have broken ground on a single family home subdivision called Brenchley Estates. The details are a little fuzzy right now, but it appears as though Brenchley Estates Wilsonville will include 39 single family houses as part of the larger mixed-use plan. At this point, there is no information available about floor plans or square footage of the planned homes at Brenchley Estates.
According to the City of Wilsonville’s website, Brenchley Estates will also include retail space, senior housing, and a series of trails and a bridge through the old growth stand of trees located in the center. All in all, it looks to be a diverse and appealing development of this property along I-5. The proximity to Mentor Graphics and Xerox, as well as Pioneer Pacific College and the new Oregon Institute of Technology campuses should make Brenchley Estates Wilsonville appealing to both local employees and students alike.
